Our anti-cheat, Aurora Borealis, is server-side by design — named for the northern lights over Yellowknife, where EmberForge is built.
Because the server owns every item and coin, duplication and gold exploits are impossible by construction, not patched after the fact. An AI keeper watches for bots and bad actors on top of that foundation, with fair, logged, escalating enforcement. Cheaters get caught; honest players get a clean game. It's a promise built into the engine.
Meet her in-game
Aurora isn't an invisible black box. She stands as a visible Game Master in both starter areas — nameplate GM / EmberForge — so every player sees from minute one that the world is watched and protected.
