EmberForge’s anti-cheat isn’t an invisible black box. Aurora is a visible Game Master who stands in both starter areas — nameplate GM / EmberForge — so every player sees from minute one that this world is watched and protected.
She’s named for the northern lights over Yellowknife, where EmberForge is built.
How it works
Fair by construction
Cheating and item duplication plagued Verra even with third-party anti-cheat bolted on. We solved it at the root.
The server owns everything
True anti-cheat lives on the server, not the client. Every item, every coin and every action is decided by our server — so duplication and gold exploits are impossible by design. Prevented, not patched.
An AI keeper on watch
On top of that foundation, an AI keeper watches for bots, exploiters and bad actors — with fair, logged, escalating enforcement.
Unfalsifiable records
The server keeps transaction logs that can’t be faked. If you cheat, Aurora appears before the ban — and the evidence goes on record.
Enforcement
Three strikes. Clearly logged.
Violations like duplication, cheating, botting or exploiting are handled with fair, escalating steps. Full details are in the Terms of Service.
Strike one
Aurora appears, the violation and evidence are logged, and any illegitimate gains are removed.
Strike two
A temporary suspension, with the evidence on record.
Strike three
A permanent ban from EmberForge.
